Bright Beginnings’ focuses on children learning through exploration of their environment. We look to maximize all areas of development including language, cognition, fine & gross motor, self-help and social skills. Our lesson plans are designed to address each child’s individual needs using a variety of activities such as indoor and outdoor play and individual and group activities which include music appreciation, dance, and the development of communication skills. Our toddler, preschool and pre-kindergarten classrooms all have child-friendly computers and computer time is built into their daily schedules.

Communication with Families
At Bright Beginnings we have an open door policy. We welcome families to stop by at any time to either observe your child (ren) through our two-way windows, unseen by your little one or to observe directly within the classroom. We also encourage and appreciate family volunteers who are interested in assisting with events or just stopping in to read a story to your child’s class.
Additionally, families are welcome to call the center to inquire about their child’s day at any time. We ask that families call between 12:30 and 2:30 when they need to speak at length to the teacher but if just to leave a message or to check-in quickly, families can call any time.
The staff in each classroom will also send home a Daily Gram every day for every child. These daily grams will provide you with essential information regarding your child’s day and his or her needs. Finally, we hold parent-teacher conferences two times a year, however, a family can request a meeting at any time, as needed. |
