Classooms & Schedules
At The Arc Bright Beginnings we have four classrooms which are determined based on your child’s age but also on his or her developmental abilities. Our center consists of an infant classroom for babies 6 weeks – 18 months; toddler class for 18 months – 2 ½ year olds; preschool for 2 ½ – 4 year olds and a pre-k classroom for children 4 – 6 years old. We offer a variety of full and part-time scheduling options in an effort to best accommodate children and families. We encourage you to click on the link to each classroom to learn more about each of them.

Curriculum & Lesson Plans
At Bright Beginnings we use a variety of weekly themes to determine what types of activities & lessons the teachers will create. Our themes are related to science, culture, the environment, holidays and celebrations, promoting imagination, and school spirit, just to name a few! Our Infant and Toddler classrooms use Creative Curriculum while Preschool and Pre-K use Core Knowledge Sequence.

We are an inclusive center and we therefore recognize the importance of seeing each child as an individual. A day at Bright Beginnings is structured and outlined by routine events including circle-time, small group play, music, art and sensory exploration. These activities and events are determined by each classroom and more specifically, each child’s individual abilities. The focus of our curriculum is that it is progressive and therefore prepares each child for the experiences in the next classroom. By the time the children exit our prekindergarten classroom, students are exposed to a variety of subjects and skills that are necessary to help them to excel in Kindergarten and beyond.
